Starting Disciplines

As per the book, players may start with their in-clan disciplines and up to three levels of common out-of-clan disciplines. The exception to this is disciplines purchased with merits that allow for an additional discipline at creation.

Bloodlines that start with different disciplines may not automatically gain access to their parent clans uncommon disciplines, for instance a Gangrel bloodline without protean would not have access to protean without a mentor gained during play, or a merit giving that discipline.
