Earning Benny Points

Benny points do not expire and are earned by the player not the character. Players may not earn more than 3 total BP per month regardless of source.

Up to two BP may be earned by making a donation towards site fees, purchasing food for the entire player base, or other monetary needs of the game $1 to $5.99 for 1 BP, $6+ for 2 BP

Bringing a new player is 1 Benny point per month that person plays for up to 3 months

Players may earn one BP by vote of the player base for their role play during game, only one point may be awarded in this manner

Storytellers can award BP to anyone they feel has advanced the plot of the game in a significant way. There's a limit of one point per person per month in this fashion, this does not include Forum play which may also award an additional Point per person

Benny Points During Character Creation

1 BP may be used to purchase backgrounds and skills at a rate of 1 BP for 1XP, there's no limit of this exchange during character creation. This may not be used to offset the cost of generation, in the case of skills and backgrounds this may not allow those particular items to go above the third dot

Benny Points During Chronicle

1 BP may be converted to 1XP for purchasing backgrounds and skills only, there's no limit on the amount that may be converted in a single month however only one dot may be purchased in this manner per month.

3 BP may be used as a retest against any ST for PVE only

5 BP may be used to gain insight or clues on a specific plot, it is up to the Storyteller of that specific plot to determine how much and what information you get, BP are not refundable even if you feel that the information is not enough or it is information you already have. This may involve a lengthy discussion with a storyteller.
